LOS ANGELES

PROVIDENCE

Providence was a turning point in my journey as a creative director, marking one of my first major photography projects after leaving the restaurant industry. I was honored to join Tristan Aitchison, the CDC, as he navigated the Santa Monica farmers market, selecting ingredients for the acclaimed Los Angeles restaurant.

It was an inspiring experience, meeting talented local farmers and artisans who form the backbone of Providence’s commitment to seasonal and sustainable cuisine.

The adventure continued at the restaurant, where I spent the day with Chef Michael Cimarusti and Donato Poto, documenting the vibrant energy and seamless collaboration of their incredible team.

From portrait sessions to behind-the-scenes videography, I captured the artistry of Wine Director David Osenbach and Bar Director Kim Stodel, bringing their unique contributions to life through my lens.

This project ignited my passion for storytelling through photography and film, particularly in the world of culinary arts.

It was at Providence that I discovered the joy of documenting chefs in their element—whether at the farmers market or in the kitchen—and showcasing the connection between their craft and the people and places that inspire them.
