I didn’t walk into Tony Tutto Pizza expecting to take on a project—I was just following a lead from an errand boy that hung around there. But sometimes, the best things come from the most unexpected places.
That’s how I met Chef Lacey Sher and got wrapped up in the incredible story behind this legendary Marin County pizzeria.

Lacey’s connection to Tony started as a customer, then a collaborator, and finally, the one who would carry on his legacy. When she took over, my job was clear: refresh the brand without losing its soul. Over the course of two projects—photography and videography—I captured the warmth, nostalgia, and effortless charm that makes Tony Tutto special.
Tony may have passed the torch, but the fire’s still burning.
