KILN
HEARTH
FROM THE
SAN FRANCISCO
CALIFORNIA
I first heard about Kiln—one of the most intriguing fine dining restaurants in San Francisco—through a friend who insisted, “You have to see this place.” As a photographer and filmmaker specializing in hospitality… I was immediately drawn in.

Kiln isn’t just a restaurant—it’s an immersive journey into the heart of modern fine dining in San Francisco.

Kiln marked a significant milestone by hosting its first-ever collaboration dinner, brought together by Salty Magazine. This exclusive event featured two of the industry’s most acclaimed chefs: Phillip Tessier of PRESS Napa Valley and Ian Scaramuzza of Ode Los Angeles.
The evening was a testament to Kiln’s commitment to innovation, where fire-driven techniques and precision met the visionary craftsmanship of these renowned chefs. As an intimate gathering of culinary minds, this dinner not only highlighted Kiln’s evolving presence in San Francisco’s fine dining scene but also underscored the power of collaboration in pushing the boundaries of modern gastronomy.

A hidden gem turned Michelin-starred powerhouse in the San Francisco dining scene.

From the very beginning, I believed Kiln SF was destined for Michelin recognition. Just one year after opening, that belief became reality when they received their first Michelin star. Being part of this journey—documenting not just the food, but the people, the fire, and the artistry—was an absolute honor.

For me, working with restaurants like Kiln SF is about more than just food photography—it’s about elevating a brand’s identity through visuals that capture its essence. Whether it’s through commercial photography, cinematic video storytelling, or full-scale restaurant branding, I strive to bring the same level of passion and precision that these chefs put into every dish.
From fire-lit dishes to moody interiors.
