KAUA’I

My journey with Living Foods Kauai started long before I ever picked up a camera. Back in my chef days, I worked at The Beach House on Kauai, where I built a strong relationship with Nicole Freeland, a general manager whose work ethic and principles I deeply admired.

Years later, when she and her partners took over Living Foods in the Kukui‘ula Shopping Center in Po‘ipū, Kauai, I knew something special was in the works.

Rooted in Kauai, crafted with heart.

From locally sourced ingredients to island-inspired flavors, Living Foods tells the story of Kauai through food

When I reached out to Nicole about elevating Living Foods’ brand presence, it was an easy yes. I teamed up with her and the incredible staff to build out a comprehensive catalog of photography and video content, bringing their vision to life and ramping up their social media presence.

Through this collaboration, we didn’t just capture images—we told a story: one of fresh, locally sourced ingredients, a passion for community-driven food, and a commitment to excellence.

A collaboration built on trust, passion, and a shared love for authentic island hospitality.

From the start, Living Foods Kauai wasn’t just another project; it was a homecoming. It was about returning to an island that shaped me as a chef and using my skills as a photographer and filmmaker to help tell the story of a brand that embodies the spirit of Kauai.
