My collaboration with Sacred Rock Inn began in the most organic way—through a shared love of cuisine. It started with a friendly back-and-forth with Chef Ryan Seal of Greenwood Restaurant and Elk House, exchanging ideas and stories online.

Before I knew it, I was in Elk, meeting the team in person and discussing how we could bring their vision to life through photography and commercial marketing.
What followed was a five-month journey to uncover and capture the essence of this boutique luxury hotel on the Mendocino Coast. It wasn’t just about showcasing the breathtaking scenery or the elevated hospitality—it was about telling the story of Sacred Rock Inn, a place deeply tied to the history and charm of Elk, California.
